Ways to Celebrate this Month

Founded in 1997 by Snowden McFall,International Fired Up!Month is October 1-28.Listed in Chase's Annual Events, it's a great time to celebrate all the things that get you Fired Up! about life, and start focusing on making your dreams coming true. Join the thousands of others on the planet who are Fired Up! and making a difference in their world .

Organize a Fired Up! party- where people come together and celebrate what gets them Fired Up!. Have upbeat positive music, healthy food, lots of laughter and joyful celebration about the positive things going on in peoples' lives. Everyone shares their dreams, their passions and their victories. You can even make it a costume party where people dress up as though their big dream has been completely realized.

Ask everyone the question "What's the Good News?" With so much bad news in the media and so much negativity out there, start focusing on what's going well in your life. Share your good news and ask others about theirs.

Host a dream collage evening- Invite over 3-4 of your friends and get a bunch of magazines, poster board, magic markers, and glue sticks and make dream collages about your dreams. See full dream collage instructions inside.

Create a "Feel Good Folder" for work and for home. This usually contains cartoons, cards and thank you notes, postcards of places you might want to visit, pictures of loved ones, newspaper clippings which inspire you. It can be a folder, a lovely gift bag, a hat box, or whatever works for you. Use it whenever something unpleasant happens or whenever your flame dies down, to reignite the fire inside and get excited again.

Host a Fired Up! week at work, or at school or in your community. Employees, students or community members can:

* maintain a daily success list
* share inspirational quotes - blow-them up and put them on the walls;
distribute them on paper to everyone
* create action options for affirmations
* share inspirational music, books or stories
* talk about their dreams
* form Fired Up! Inspiration Circles
* participate in International Make a Difference Day

Share your gratitude for all the good things in your life. Start a gratitude journal and record 5 items a day you are grateful for.

Participate in a service project for International Make a Difference Day Helping someone less fortunate than yourself is one of the best ways to shift out of negativity or depression into expansion. Be sure to choose a cause that comes from your heart, and participate in a way that you feel good about. The fact that you are focusing outside yourself to serve others will get you Fired Up!

Complete the Fired Up! Action Plan for Dreambuilding and start living the life of your dreams. The more you do what you love regularly and the more you share it, the more Fired Up! you will be. That fire is contagious and it ignites the flame in others. The time is now. The choice is yours. Get Fired Up!

"If you can dream it, you can do it." Walt Disney

"When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds. Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a great new wonderful world...You discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be." Patanjali
